EM104: No Communication via RS 232

You have downloaded and installed METRAwin 10/A2000 software from the Internet. A connection test can be executed after selecting Device > Communication. But only dashes appear at your screen. Check the following settings at the A2000:

COM 1 – address: 1 to 9 or 250, baud rate: 9600, parity: even, protocol: DIN 19244

Set the address table to DEFAULT before starting the connection test!
 If you’re still unable to establish connection, check the interface cable. If a Gossen-Metrawatt adapter is utilized, a 1:1 interface cable must be connected.
